Setup

  1. Read all instructions and important safeguards.
  2. Remove all packaging materials and check that all items have been received in good condition.
  3. Wash the inner pot, glass lid, rice measuring cup, and serving spatula in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  4. Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
  5. Place the rice cooker on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface.

Operating Instructions

Cooking Rice

  1. Using the provided measuring cup, measure the desired amount of rice. Rinse rice in a separate bowl until water is relatively clear.
  2. Place rinsed rice into the stainless steel inner pot.
  3. Add water to the inner pot according to the measurements on the side of the pot or refer to the White Rice Cooking Chart below.
  4. Place the inner pot into the rice cooker base. Cover with the glass lid.
  5. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
  6. Press the Cook switch down. The 'Cook' indicator light will illuminate.
  7. Once the rice is cooked, the Cook switch will automatically flip up and the 'Warm' indicator light will illuminate.
  8. For best results, allow rice to rest on Warm for 5-10 minutes before serving. This allows for further steaming and fluffier rice.
  9. Unplug the rice cooker when not in use.

Versatile Cooking Options

Beyond rice, your cooker can prepare a variety of one-pot meals, including soups, jambalaya, chili, oatmeal, and more. Simply add your ingredients to the inner pot, cover, and press the Cook switch. The cooker will automatically switch to Warm when cooking is complete.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your rice cooker.

Cleaning the Inner Pot and Accessories

  • Always unplug the rice cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • The stainless steel inner pot, glass lid, rice measuring cup, and serving spatula are dishwasher safe.
  • Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water using a sponge or cloth. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the inner pot as they may damage the surface.

Cleaning the Rice Cooker Base

  • Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base with a damp cloth.
  • Do not immerse the rice cooker base in water or any other liquid.
  • Ensure the heating plate is clean and free of any food debris to ensure proper contact with the inner pot.

Troubleshooting
