1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

Always adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury and damage to the equipment:

4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Site Selection

Choose a level, firm surface for the filter, preferably close to the pool pump. Ensure adequate space for maintenance and service (12 inches on sides, 18 inches on top).

4.2. Sand Filling

1. Ensure the internal lateral assembly is properly seated at the bottom of the tank.
2. Place a plastic bag or cover over the standpipe opening to prevent sand from entering.
3. Carefully pour the recommended amount of filter sand (typically #20 silica sand) into the tank. Refer to the specifications section for the correct sand weight for model L192C-7C.
4. Remove the plastic bag/cover and clean any sand from the standpipe opening.

4.3. Valve Installation

1. Ensure the O-ring is properly seated on the bottom of the multiport valve.
2. Carefully align the valve with the standpipe and press down firmly until it seats properly on the tank opening.
3. Secure the valve to the tank using the non-corrosive resin clamp. Ensure the clamp is tightened securely and evenly.
4. Install the pressure gauge into the designated port on the valve.
