Operating Instructions

Making Waffles

  1. Prepare Batter: Prepare your favorite waffle batter.
  2. Preheat: Plug the waffle maker into a 120V AC outlet. The red "Power" light will turn on. Close the lid and allow the unit to preheat until the green "Ready" light illuminates.
  3. Adjust Temperature: Use the adjustable temperature control dial to select your desired browning level. A higher setting will result in crispier waffles, while a lower setting will produce lighter, fluffier waffles.
  4. Add Batter: Once the green "Ready" light is on, open the lid. Pour approximately 3/4 to 1 cup of waffle batter onto the center of the lower baking plate. Distribute the batter evenly, ensuring it reaches the edges of the plate. Note: Do not overfill, as batter may overflow.
  5. Close Lid: Carefully close the lid. The green "Ready" light may turn off as the unit begins cooking.
  6. Cook: Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the green "Ready" light illuminates again, indicating the waffle is done. Cooking time may vary based on batter type and desired crispness. Steam will escape from the sides during cooking; this is normal.
  7. Remove Waffle: Once cooked, open the lid and carefully remove the waffle using a heat-resistant plastic or wooden utensil. Do not use metal utensils, as they can damage the nonstick coating.
  8. Repeat: Close the lid to allow the unit to reheat for the next waffle. The green "Ready" light will illuminate when it's ready for the next batch.
  9. Finish: When finished cooking, unplug the waffle maker from the outlet.

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your waffle maker.

  1. Cool Down: Always unplug the waffle maker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Baking Plates: Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe the nonstick baking plates.
