Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
- Base Assembly: Attach the base to the main tower unit. Align the base with the bottom of the tower and secure it using the provided screw. Ensure it is tightened firmly for stability.
- Placement: Position the tower speaker on a flat, stable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Power Connection: Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the tower speaker, then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- Initial Power On: Press the Power button on the unit or remote control to turn on the speaker system.
Operating Instructions
1. Docking an Apple Device (iPod/iPhone/iPad)
- Ensure the speaker system is powered on.
- Carefully place your 30-pin compatible iPod, iPhone, or iPad onto the docking connector located on top of the tower speaker. Ensure it is seated firmly.
- The unit should automatically switch to Docking mode and begin playing audio from your device, as well as charging it.
- Use the volume controls on the speaker or remote to adjust the audio level. Playback controls (play/pause, skip) can be operated via your docked device or the remote control.
2. FM Radio Operation
- Press the MODE button on the unit or remote control until "FM" is displayed.
- Auto Scan and Preset: Press and hold the SCAN button (or equivalent on remote) to automatically scan and store available FM stations. The system can store up to 20 stations.
- Manual Tuning: Use the TUNE +/- buttons to manually adjust the frequency.
- Recalling Presets: Use the PRESET +/- buttons to cycle through your stored FM stations.
3. Auxiliary Input (AUX IN)
The CHT910 offers two types of auxiliary inputs:
- 3.5mm Jack: For connecting portable audio players like MP3 players or smartphones (non-docking).
- RCA Jacks (Left/Right): For connecting audio output from televisions, DVD players, or other home audio equipment.
- Connect your external audio device to the appropriate AUX IN jack on the back of the tower speaker using a compatible audio cable (not included).
- Press the MODE button on the unit or remote control until "AUX" is displayed.
- Start playback on your connected device.
- Adjust the volume using the speaker's controls or the remote.
4. Remote Control Functions
