Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your Carrera Wireless+ system for the first time.
- Connect the Charging Station: Integrate the 2.4 GHz Wireless+ Double Charging Station (which is part of the connection rail) into your Carrera Digital 124 or Digital 132 track layout. Ensure it is securely connected to the track sections.
- Connect the Adapter Unit: Plug the adapter unit into the designated port on the connection rail/charging station. Then, connect the adapter unit to a suitable power outlet.
- Place Controllers on Charging Station: Place both Wireless+ Speed Controllers onto the double charging station. The controllers will begin charging automatically. Allow them to charge fully before first use for optimal battery life.
- Receiver Placement: The 2.4 GHz Wireless+ receiver is integrated into the connection rail. Ensure the connection rail is positioned where it has a clear line of sight to the area where the controllers will be used for best signal reception.

Operating Instructions
Once set up, operating your Wireless+ controllers is straightforward.

- Power On: Ensure your Carrera Digital track system is powered on. The controllers will automatically connect to the receiver when removed from the charging station and within range.
- Speed Control: Use the trigger on the handheld controller to control the speed of your slot car. Pulling the trigger increases speed, releasing it decreases speed.
- Lane Changing: Utilize the lane change button (if applicable to your specific controller model and track system) to switch lanes on compatible track sections.
- Multi-Driver Operation: The 2.4 GHz Wireless+ technology allows up to 6 drivers to race simultaneously without interference, thanks to frequency hopping. Each controller will automatically pair with an available driver slot on your digital system.
- Battery Status: The controllers feature an indicator light (refer to controller specific manual for exact location and behavior) that shows battery status. Recharge when the indicator suggests low battery.
