2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully open the packaging and remove the Medeli SP5500.

2.2 Power Connection

  1. Ensure the piano's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN jack on the rear panel of the piano.

3.1 Basic Operation

The Medeli SP5500 offers 559 different voices. Use the VOICE category buttons and the data entry knob or +/- buttons to browse and select desired instrument sounds.

3.3 Style Selection

Access 203 built-in accompaniment styles. Press the STYLE category buttons and use the data entry knob or +/- buttons to choose a style. Press the START/STOP button to begin or end the accompaniment.

3.4 Playing Songs

The piano includes 100 pre-recorded songs and 2 demo songs. Navigate to the SONG mode and select a song using the appropriate controls. Use the PLAY/PAUSE button to control playback.

4. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the piano. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
