Operating Instructions
Boiling Eggs:

- Place the egg holder tray onto the base unit.
- Place the pierced eggs onto the egg holder tray, with the pierced end facing upwards.
- Cover the unit with the stainless steel lid.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that cooking has begun.
- Once the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked, an audible alert will sound, and the indicator light will turn off.
- Unplug the unit and carefully remove the lid and egg tray using the cool-touch handle.

Note: The above data is approximate. Actual cooking time may vary depending on egg size, ambient temperature, and desired firmness.
Poaching/Steaming Other Foods:
- Fill the measuring cup with water (e.g., 80ml for poached eggs, 100ml for egg custard).
- Pour the measured water onto the heating plate in the base unit.
- Place the egg holder tray onto the base unit.
- Place the poaching/steaming tray on top of the egg holder tray.

Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Always unplug the egg cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wash the stainless steel lid, egg holder tray, poaching/steaming tray, and measuring cup in warm, soapy water. These parts are dishwasher safe.
- Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling (Mineral Deposits):
Over time, mineral deposits may accumulate on the heating plate, especially if using tap water. To remove these deposits:
- Pour 1/4 cup of white vinegar into the heating plate.
- Let it soak for 10-15 minutes.
- If necessary, gently scrub with a non-abrasive sponge or cloth.
- Rinse the heating plate thoroughly with clean water.
Troubleshooting
- Eggs not cooked to desired firmness: Ensure the correct amount of water was used according to the firmness guide. Adjust water quantity slightly for future use based on results.
- Eggs cracking during cooking: Always pierce the large end of the egg before placing it in the cooker. Ensure eggs are at room temperature if possible.
- Unit not turning on: Check if the unit is properly plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the power button is pressed.
- Mineral deposits on heating plate: Refer to the descaling instructions in the Maintenance section.
