4. Setup Instructions
- Charge the Battery: Connect the TR-332 High Capacity Battery to the TR-341N Battery Charger. Ensure the battery is fully charged before initial use. A full charge typically provides 10-12 hours of operation.
- Install Filter and Prefilter: Insert the TR-3712N Particulate Filter into the TR-306N PAPR Unit. Place the TR-362 Spark Arrestor/Prefilter over the particulate filter to extend its life and protect against sparks.
- Assemble PAPR Unit: Attach the TR-306N PAPR Unit to the TR-326 High Durability Belt. Securely fasten the belt around your waist.
- Connect Breathing Tube: Connect one end of the BT-40 Heavy Duty Breathing Tube to the PAPR unit and the other end to the M-307 Respiratory Hard Hat Assembly. Ensure connections are secure using the Quick Release Swivel (QRS) mechanism.
- Perform Airflow Check: Before each use, perform an airflow check using the TR-970 Airflow Indicator. Turn on the PAPR unit and verify that the indicator ball floats within the specified range, confirming adequate airflow.

5. Operating Instructions
- Donning the System: Place the M-307 Respiratory Hard Hat Assembly on your head and adjust the suspension for a comfortable and secure fit. Ensure the face shield provides clear vision and proper seal.
- Activating the PAPR: Press the power button on the TR-306N PAPR Unit to turn it on. The unit will automatically begin providing filtered air.
- Monitoring Airflow and Battery: The PAPR unit is equipped with automatic flow control and alarms for low battery and low airflow. Pay attention to these indicators during operation. The battery life is approximately 10-12 hours.
- Airflow Distribution: The M-307 hard hat features a two-position adjustable airflow feature, allowing the user to direct air as desired for comfort.
- Elevation Limit: This kit is designed for use at elevations up to 2600 feet above sea level only. Operation above this elevation may affect performance.
- Doffing the System: To remove the system, turn off the PAPR unit, then carefully remove the hard hat and disconnect the breathing tube and belt.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the M-307 Respiratory Hard Hat Assembly, especially the face shield, with a mild soap and water solution. The PAPR unit and breathing tube can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Do not immerse electrical components in water.
- Filter Replacement: Replace the TR-3712N Particulate Filter when the airflow indicator shows insufficient flow, or as per your company's safety protocols. The spark arrestor/prefilter should be replaced more frequently if it becomes clogged or damaged.
- Battery Care: Recharge the TR-332 High Capacity Battery after each use or when the low battery alarm activates. Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect all components for signs of wear, damage, or degradation. Pay close attention to the breathing tube for cracks or punctures, and the hard hat for structural integrity. Replace damaged components immediately.
7. Troubleshooting
