Setup
1. Charging the Headset
Before first use, fully charge your HK250 headset. Connect the provided wall charger to the headset's charging port and plug it into a power outlet. A full charge from 0% to 100% typically takes approximately 2 hours and provides up to 7.5 hours of talk time or 10 days of standby time.
2. Pairing with Your Device
To use your headset, it must be paired with a Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
- Ensure the headset is turned off.
- Press and hold the Power button on the headset until the indicator light flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- Select "Motorola HK250" from the list of available devices.
- If prompted for a passcode, enter "0000".
- Once paired, the headset will announce "Phone 1 connected" and the indicator light will flash blue.
Note: The HK250 supports multipoint technology, allowing connection to two devices simultaneously. After pairing the first device, repeat the pairing process for the second device. The headset will announce "Phone 2 connected" when successful.
3. Wearing the Headset
The HK250 comes with an ear gel and an ear hook for a secure and comfortable fit. Choose the ear gel and ear hook combination that best suits your ear. The ear hook can be rotated to wear the headset on either your left or right ear.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light flashes blue.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light flashes red and then turns off.
2. Making and Receiving Calls
- Answer Call: Press the Call button once.
- End Call: Press the Call button once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds when a call comes in.
- Make Call: Dial the number on your phone. The call will automatically transfer to the headset.
- Voice Dial (if supported by phone): Press the Call button once when not on a call.

3. Volume Control
Use the volume buttons located on the side of the headset to adjust the call or media volume. Press the '+' button to increase volume and the '-' button to decrease volume.
4. Streaming Audio (A2DP)
The HK250 supports A2DP technology, allowing you to stream music, podcast audio, navigation instructions, and game audio directly through your headset from your paired device.
5. Multipoint Technology
With multipoint technology, your HK250 can be connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. This allows you to seamlessly switch between calls or audio from your business phone and personal phone without needing to re-pair.
6. Voice Prompts
The headset provides helpful voice prompts to inform you of its status, including:
- "Phone 1 connected" / "Phone 2 connected"
- Remaining talk time (e.g., "7 hours talk time")
- Mute status (e.g., "Mute on")

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your HK250 headset, refer to the following common solutions:
- Headset will not power on: Ensure the headset is fully charged. Connect it to the charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power on again.
- Cannot pair the headset:
- Ensure the headset is in pairing mode (flashing blue and red light).
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is discoverable.
- Move the headset closer to your device.
- Try turning the headset off, then plugging it in to charge, then unplugging it and turning it back on. This can sometimes re-establish connection.
- Delete the HK250 from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to re-pair.
- No audio or poor audio quality:
- Increase the volume on both the headset and your connected device.
- Ensure the headset is within the 300-foot operating range of your device. Obstacles like walls can reduce range.
- Check if the headset is properly seated in your ear.
