3.2 Charging the Battery

Open the battery/card compartment cover on the side of the camera. Insert the charged battery with the correct orientation. Insert an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card into the card slot until it clicks into place. Close the compartment cover securely until it locks.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Settings

When you turn on the camera for the first time, you will be prompted to set the date, time, and language. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure these settings. You can adjust these later through the camera's menu.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1 Basic Photography

To take a photo, turn on the camera using the ON/OFF button. Frame your shot using the LCD screen. Press the shutter button halfway to focus, then press it fully to capture the image.

The TG-820 supports Full HD 1080p video recording. To start recording, press the dedicated movie record button. Press it again to stop. Ensure you have sufficient memory card space for video files.
