Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly of your Suncast Horizontal Storage Shed. Refer to the included videos for visual guidance.
1. Identify the Base Panel
Locate the large, flat base panel. This is the foundation of your shed. Ensure it is placed on a level surface.
Video: Step-by-step guide on identifying the base and assembling the shed panels. This video demonstrates the initial setup process.
2. Prepare Side Panels (C & D)
Identify side panels C and D. These panels have specific markings (C or D) and an arrow indicating the upward orientation. Attach the hinge pieces (L and R) to the designated spots on panels C and D using the provided M4x19mm screws. Ensure the hinge pieces are aligned correctly for the screws to pass through.
3. Attach Side Panels to the Base
Carefully position side panel C onto the base, ensuring the higher end of the panel is at the back. The panel should slot into the designated grooves on the base. Repeat for side panel D on the opposite side. No screws are needed for this part; the panels friction-fit into the base.
4. Insert Back Panel
Take the back panel (which is foldable in the middle) and slide it into the grooves between the side panels. Ensure the folded part is on the inside. It should slide down from the top and fit snugly into the slit at the bottom of the base. Use a gentle push to secure it in place.

5. Secure Panels with Screws
Once all side and back panels are in place, secure them to the base using the M4x25mm screws. There are 11 designated screw points: 3 along each side panel and 5 along the bottom edge of the back panel. Ensure all screws are tightened for stability.
6. Attach Top Panel
Identify the top panel, which has a bendable hinge section. Attach the locking part to the front of the top panel using two M4x25mm screws. This piece will align with the holes on the front of the top panel. Then, carefully place the top panel onto the assembled structure, ensuring the hinge part is at the back. The top panel should slot onto the edges of the side and back panels. Secure the top panel by screwing in the remaining M4x25mm screws into the designated holes along the top edges of the side and back panels.
7. Install Doors (A & B)
Identify door panels A and B. Door B has a bottom latch mechanism. Insert the bottom latch pieces (Qx1 and Px1) into the designated slot at the bottom of door B. Ensure they are keyed correctly and push them in firmly. Then, pull the latch all the way out. For door A, attach the handle without the bottom latch. For door B, attach the handle with the bottom latch. Screw the handles into the doors using the provided screws. Ensure the top locking mechanism is inserted into the handle before screwing it in.

8. Attach Doors to the Shed
With the top lid open, carefully align the hinges of door B with the corresponding slots on the left side of the shed frame (when facing the shed). Slide the door into place. Repeat for door A on the right side. Ensure the doors swing freely and the latches engage properly.
Operating Instructions
Opening the Lid:
To open the lid, simply lift it from the front. The integrated stay-open prop rod will automatically engage to hold the lid in an open position, providing convenient access to the shed's interior. To close, gently push the prop rod forward and lower the lid until it latches securely.
Opening the Doors:
To open the doors, disengage the bottom foot latch by pushing it upwards. Then, unlatch the top locking mechanism by rotating the handle. The double doors will swing open, providing full access to the shed's contents. To close, swing the doors shut, engage the top locking mechanism, and push down the bottom foot latch until it clicks into place.
