5. Installation Instructions
5.1 Before You Begin

5.2 Wiring the Dimmer Switch

- Connect the line (hot) wire to the designated terminal on the dimmer switch.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Local Control
- Turn ON/OFF: Press the top of the rocker to turn the light ON. Press the bottom of the rocker to turn the light OFF.
- BRIGHTEN: Press and hold the top of the rocker to gradually brighten the light. Release when the desired brightness is reached.
- DIM: Press and hold the bottom of the rocker to gradually dim the light. Release when the desired brightness is reached.
- The dimmer takes approximately 3 seconds to adjust lights from Off to Full Bright and vice versa.
6.2 Remote X10 Control
The X10 Dimmer Switch responds to standard X10 commands from compatible X10 controllers (sold separately). Ensure your X10 system is properly configured with the correct house and unit codes for the dimmer switch.
