Key Components:

4. Setup

4.1 Connecting to Air Supply

  1. Ensure the air compressor is off and the air tank is drained.
  2. Apply 2-3 drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet of the stapler.
  3. Connect a suitable air hose (minimum 3/8" I.D.) to the air inlet fitting on the stapler.
  4. Set the air compressor regulator to the recommended operating pressure (refer to Specifications). Do not exceed 100 PSI.
  5. Turn on the air compressor and allow it to build pressure.
  6. Check all connections for air leaks.

4.2 Loading Staples

  1. Disconnect the air supply from the tool before loading staples.
  2. Pull back the magazine follower until it locks in the open position.
  3. Insert a strip of 1/2" crown staples into the magazine with the staple points facing down. Ensure the staples are fully seated.
  4. Release the magazine follower, allowing it to push the staples forward until they are against the nosepiece.
  5. Reconnect the air supply.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Ensure all safety precautions are followed, and the tool is properly loaded.
  2. Place the nosepiece of the stapler firmly against the workpiece where the staple is to be driven.
  3. Squeeze the trigger to drive a staple.
  4. Release the trigger after each staple.
  5. Adjust air pressure as needed to achieve desired staple depth. Higher pressure drives staples deeper.

5.2 Clearing a Jam

If a staple jams in the nosepiece:

  1. Immediately disconnect the air supply from the tool.
  2. Open the magazine and remove any remaining staples.
  3. Carefully remove the jammed staple from the nosepiece using pliers or a screwdriver. Be cautious of sharp edges.
  4. Inspect the nosepiece for any damage.
  5. Reload staples and reconnect the air supply. Test the tool on a scrap piece of material.

For optimal performance and longevity, lubricate the tool daily or before each use.
