1.2 Charging the Battery

Insert the EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery into the MH-25 Quick Charger. Connect the charger to a power outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

1.3 Inserting Memory Cards

The D800 supports one CompactFlash (CF) card and one Secure Digital (SD) card (SD/SDHC/SDXC UHS-I compliant). Open the memory card slot cover and insert the cards in the correct orientation until they click into place. Close the cover securely.

1.4 Attaching a Lens
