3. Operating Instructions
3.1. Tilting Function
The BONTEC TV Wall Mount allows for a 1-degree upward tilt and an 8-degree downward tilt. This feature helps reduce screen glare and improve viewing comfort, especially when the TV is mounted higher than eye level.

To adjust the tilt, loosen the tilt adjustment screws on the side of the TV brackets, set your desired angle, and then tighten the screws to secure the position.
3.2. Dismounting the TV
To dismount the TV, pull the nylon cords located at the bottom of the TV brackets. This will release the automatic locking system, allowing you to safely lift the TV off the wall plate.

4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and safe operation of your BONTEC TV Wall Mount, periodic maintenance is recommended:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the mount. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Check Connections: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight and secure. Over time, vibrations or movement can cause fasteners to loosen.
- Inspect for Wear: Examine the mount for any signs of wear, corrosion, or damage. If any issues are found, contact customer support for assistance.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your TV wall mount, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- TV Not Level: Ensure the wall plate was installed perfectly level using the included bubble level. Minor adjustments can sometimes be made by slightly loosening and re-tightening the TV bracket screws.
- Difficulty Tilting: Check that the tilt adjustment screws are sufficiently loosened before attempting to change the tilt angle. Ensure no cables are obstructing the movement.
- Mount Feels Loose: Immediately remove the TV from the mount. Re-check all wall fasteners and TV bracket screws to ensure they are securely tightened. If mounting into wood studs, ensure the lag bolts are fully engaged in the center of the studs. If mounting into concrete/brick, ensure anchors are properly seated.
- Missing Parts: Refer to the packing list in Section 2.1. If any parts are missing, contact BONTEC customer support.
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, please contact professional assistance or BONTEC customer support.
