1. Important Safety Information
Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries are powerful and can be dangerous if not handled correctly. Read and understand all safety warnings before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions can result in fire, personal injury, and property damage.
- Charging: Always charge LiPo batteries on a fire-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. Use only a LiPo-compatible charger with a balance charging function. Never charge unattended. Do not charge a damaged or puffed battery.
- Discharging: Do not over-discharge the battery. Discharging below 3.0V per cell can permanently damage the battery and create a fire hazard. Monitor voltage during use.
- Storage: Store LiPo batteries at room temperature, in a fire-resistant container, and at a storage voltage of approximately 3.8V per cell. Do not store fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods.
- Handling: Do not puncture, crush, short-circuit, or disassemble the battery. Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or moisture.
- Damage: If the battery becomes damaged, swells, or shows any signs of leakage, immediately discontinue use and dispose of it safely according to local regulations.
2. Product Overview

3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charging
- Place the battery on a fire-resistant surface.
- Connect the main XT60 connector of the battery to your LiPo charger's output.
- Connect the JST-XH balance plug of the battery to the balance port on your charger. Ensure correct polarity.
- Set your charger to "LiPo Balance Charge" mode.
- Configure the charger for 3S (11.1V) and a charge current of 2.2A (1C rate for 2200mAh).
- Start the charging process and monitor the battery throughout. Disconnect once charging is complete.
3.2 Connecting to Device
Ensure your device (e.g., RC vehicle) is compatible with a 3S (11.1V) LiPo battery and has an XT60 connector. Connect the battery's XT60 connector to the device's power input. Always ensure the device's power switch is off before connecting the battery.
4. Operating Guidelines
- Voltage Monitoring: Always monitor the battery voltage during operation. Do not allow any cell to drop below 3.0V. For optimal battery life, avoid dropping below 3.3V per cell under load.
- Discharge Rate: This battery is rated for a 20C continuous discharge and a 30C burst discharge. Ensure your application's current draw does not exceed these limits to prevent overheating and damage.
- Temperature: Avoid operating the battery in extremely hot or cold conditions. If the battery becomes excessively hot during use, discontinue operation and allow it to cool before recharging or further use.
5. Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Before and after each use, inspect the battery for any signs of damage, swelling, punctures, or frayed wires. Do not use a damaged battery.
- Cleaning: Keep the battery and connectors clean and free from dirt or debris. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
- Long-Term Storage: For storage longer than a few days, charge or discharge the battery to a storage voltage of 3.8V per cell (approximately 11.4V for a 3S pack). Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in a LiPo-safe bag or container.
6. Troubleshooting
- Battery Not Charging:
- Ensure all connectors (main and balance) are securely plugged into the charger.
- Verify charger settings match the battery specifications (3S, LiPo mode, correct current).
- Check for any visible damage to the battery or connectors.
- Reduced Performance/Short Run Time:
- The battery may be aging. LiPo batteries have a limited cycle life.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
- Check for excessive current draw from your device.
- Verify the battery is not being over-discharged during use.
- Battery Swelling/Puffing:
This indicates internal damage and a potential safety hazard. Immediately discontinue use, place the battery in a fire-resistant container, and dispose of it safely according to local regulations. Do NOT attempt to charge or use a swollen battery.
