Basic Operation

Power On/Off and Volume

• Power On: Press the POWER/MUTE button (usually the volume knob) or turn the vehicle's ignition to ACC or ON.
• Power Off: Press and hold the POWER/MUTE button.
• Volume Control: Rotate the VOLUME knob clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
• Mute: Briefly press the POWER/MUTE button to mute audio. Press again to unmute.

Main Menu Navigation

• From any source, press the HOME button to return to the main menu.
• Touch the desired icon on the 6.2-inch touchscreen to select a function (e.g., Radio, Disc, USB, BT).

Radio Operation

• From the main menu, touch the RADIO icon.
• Band Selection: Touch the BAND button on the front panel or the corresponding icon on the screen to switch between FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2.
• Manual Tuning: Touch the << or >> arrows on the screen to fine-tune the frequency.
• Seek Tuning: Press and hold the << or >> arrows to automatically search for the next strong station.
• Preset Stations: Touch and hold a numbered preset button (1-6) on the screen to save the current station. Briefly touch to recall a saved station.
• Automatic Store (AS/PS): Touch the AS/PS icon to automatically scan and store the strongest stations to presets.

Disc Playback (CD/DVD)

• Insert a CD or DVD into the disc slot. The unit will automatically switch to Disc mode.

USB/SD Card Playback

• Insert a USB drive into the front USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.

Bluetooth Operation

• Pairing:

  4. Once paired, the unit will display a confirmation.
• Hands-Free Calling:
  • When a call comes in, the unit will display the caller ID. Touch ANSWER to accept or REJECT to decline.
  • Use the on-screen dial pad to make calls or access your phonebook (if synced).
• Audio Streaming (A2DP):
  • After pairing, select the BT MUSIC option on the unit.
  • Start playing audio on your paired mobile device. The audio will stream through the VR-623B.
  • Use the on-screen controls to Play/Pause, Skip Track.

Auxiliary Input
