2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mounting the Fixture

  2. Prepare mounting surface: Attach the mounting arm to a suitable RAB Mighty Post or a standard outdoor junction box. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and can support the fixture's weight.

4.2 Wiring Instructions

  1. Connect wires: Connect the fixture's wires to the supply wires according to local electrical codes. Typically, this involves connecting the black wire to the hot wire, the white wire to the neutral wire, and the green or bare copper wire to the ground wire.
  2. Secure connections: Use appropriate wire connectors and ensure all connections are tight and secure.

4.3 Installing the Lamp (Bulb)

  1. Select appropriate lamp: Use a PAR38 lamp with an E26 medium base, not exceeding 150W.
  2. Insert lamp: Carefully screw the PAR38 lamp into the E26 socket until snug. Do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and powered, the RAB Lighting H101B floodlight is ready for operation.

  2. Adjusting Light Direction: The fixture features an adjustable mounting arm. Loosen the adjustment screw on the knuckle, position the floodlight to achieve the desired illumination angle for your landscape, driveway, or building facade, and then tighten the screw securely.
  3. Control Method: The floodlight is designed for control via a remote switch (not included) or by the main power switch.
