Setup

1. Battery Installation

2. Initial Power-On

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• To turn the scale ON, press the ON/OFF button.
• To turn the scale OFF, press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds until the display turns off.

2. Weighing an Item

1. Ensure the scale is powered on and displays '0.0'.
2. Carefully attach the item to be weighed to the hook at the bottom of the scale.
3. Hold the scale steady and allow the reading to stabilize. The weight will be displayed on the digital screen.

3. Unit Conversion

The scale supports measurement in both Pounds (lb) and Kilograms (kg).

• To switch between units, press the UNIT button (often integrated with the ON/OFF button or a separate button labeled 'UNIT' or 'MODE'). The display will change to show the weight in the selected unit.

4. Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or holding device, so only the weight of the item inside is measured.

1. Hang the empty container or holding device on the scale's hook.
2. Wait for the weight to stabilize.
3. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to '0.0'.
4. Place the item to be weighed into the container. The display will now show only the net weight of the item.

5. Auto Shut Off

The scale features an Auto Shut Off function to conserve battery life. If left idle for a period (typically a few minutes), the scale will automatically power off. Press the ON/OFF button to turn it back on.
