5. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, flat, and dry surface, away from heat sources and water splashes.
3. Rinsing the Water Tank: Remove the water tank, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water, and fill it with fresh drinking water up to the MAX level. Reinsert the tank securely.
4. First Use Rinse Cycle:
   • Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet. The power button will flash red, then turn green when ready.
   • Place an empty cup or container on the drip tray.
   • Without a capsule inserted, select the maximum water level on the control panel.
   • Press the cold water button (blue) to run a cold water cycle.
   • Repeat the process with the hot water button (red) to run a hot water cycle.
   • Discard the water. Your machine is now ready for use.

Making a Beverage:

1. Power On: Ensure the machine is plugged in and the power button is green.
2. Fill Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh water.
3. Insert Capsule: Open the capsule holder, insert a Nescafé Dolce Gusto capsule, and close the holder securely.

5. Select Water Level: Use the water level selector on the control panel to choose the desired amount of water. Refer to the recommended level indicated on your Nescafé Dolce Gusto capsule packaging.

6. Brew Beverage: Press either the hot water button (red) or cold water button (blue) depending on your capsule type. The machine will automatically stop when the selected water level is reached.

Cleaning:
