Setup

Unit Selection (°C/°F): While the thermometer is off, press and hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 3 seconds until the unit changes from Celsius to Fahrenheit or vice versa. Release the button to set the desired unit.

Operating Instructions

Preparation: Ensure the thermometer probe is clean and disinfected before each use.
Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the thermometer.
Positioning: Carefully insert the flexible probe into the measurement site. For animals, this typically involves rectal measurement.
Measurement: Hold the thermometer steady during the measurement. The temperature reading will stabilize, and an automatic signal tone will sound when the measurement is complete (approximately 10 seconds). The display backlight will indicate the temperature range (green for normal, red for fever).
Reading the Result: Read the temperature displayed on the large digital screen.
Power Off: The thermometer will automatically shut off after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. You can also manually turn it off by pressing the ON/OFF button.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning: After each use, clean the thermometer probe with a soft cloth and a suitable disinfectant. The thermometer is waterproof, allowing for thorough cleaning.
Storage: Store the thermometer in its protective case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Battery Replacement: Replace the battery (CR2032) when the battery change indicator appears on the display. Ensure proper polarity and secure closure of the battery compartment to maintain water resistance.

Troubleshooting
