Setup
- Unpack the Charger: Carefully remove the charger and batteries from their packaging.
- Inspect for Damage: Check the charger and batteries for any visible signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.
- Prepare Batteries: Ensure the batteries are clean and dry before insertion.
Operating Instructions
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment. Insert AA or AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries into the charger, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment. The charger can accommodate up to four batteries simultaneously.
- Connect to Power: Flip up the integrated AC plug and plug the charger directly into a standard wall outlet (100-240V AC, 50/60Hz).
- Charging Indication: The charger features indicator lights (usually red) that illuminate when batteries are charging. These lights typically remain on during the charging process. Note: This charger does not have an automatic shut-off or full-charge indicator.
- Charging Time: For a full charge, allow approximately 16 hours for the included AAA batteries or other standard NiMH batteries. Charging times may vary based on battery capacity and discharge level.
- Remove Batteries: Once the estimated charging time has passed, unplug the charger from the wall outlet. Carefully remove the charged batteries.
Important: Overcharging can reduce battery lifespan. It is recommended to remove batteries after the specified charging time.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from the power source before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the charger. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the charger and batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal performance and lifespan, fully discharge NiMH batteries periodically before recharging.
