4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Logitech M510 mouse:

  • Battery Replacement: The mouse boasts up to two years of battery life. When the battery indicator light turns red, it's time to replace the two AAA batteries.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but avoid excessive moisture. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

    • Check if the mouse is turned on.
    • Ensure the Unifying receiver is securely plugged into a USB port.
    • Replace the batteries if the battery indicator light is off or red.
    • Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port.
  • Erratic Cursor Movement:
    • Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
    • Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (not highly reflective or transparent).
    • Move the mouse closer to the Unifying receiver to reduce interference.
  • Buttons Not Working:
