  2. Connect the Antennas: Screw the two external antennas firmly onto the connectors at the rear of the router. Adjust them vertically for optimal signal.
  3. Connect to Modem: Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the WAN port (blue) on the router and the other end to your modem's Ethernet port.

  5. Verify LED Indicators: Wait for the power, WAN, and Wi-Fi LEDs on the front panel to stabilize, indicating a successful connection.

Configuration

After hardware setup, configure your router's settings via the web interface.

  1. Connect to the Router:
    • Wired Connection: Connect your computer to one of the router's LAN ports (yellow) using an Ethernet cable.
    • Wireless Connection: Connect to the default Wi-Fi network (SSID) printed on the label at the bottom of your router. The default password will also be listed there.

  3. Login: Enter the default username (usually admin) and password (usually admin or password). Refer to the router's label if these do not work.
  4. Run Quick Internet Setup (QIS): The router's web interface will typically guide you through a Quick Internet Setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to configure your internet connection type (e.g., DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE).
  5. Change Wi-Fi Settings: It is highly recommended to change the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password to a strong, unique password for security. Navigate to the Wireless section in the web interface to do this.
