Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions
1. Placing the Scale
Place the kitchen scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate measurements. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces.
2. Power On/Off
- To turn on the scale, press the "ON/TARE" button. The display will show "8888" and then "0g" (or the last used unit).
- To turn off the scale, press and hold the "ON/TARE" button for approximately 3 seconds. The scale will also automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
3. Unit Conversion
Press the "UNIT" button to cycle through the available measurement units: grams (g), milliliters (ml), pounds (lb), and fluid ounces (fl.oz).

4. Weighing Items
- Turn on the scale. Ensure the display shows "0g".
- Place the item(s) directly onto the weighing platform or in a suitable container. The weight will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5. Tare Function (Zeroing the Scale)
The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively without removing previous ones.
- Place an empty container on the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
- Press the "ON/TARE" button. The display will reset to "0g".
- Add the first ingredient to the container. The display will show the weight of only that ingredient.
- To add another ingredient, press the "ON/TARE" button again to reset the display to "0g".
- Add the next ingredient. Repeat this process for all subsequent ingredients.

- Overload: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 5kg (11lb). Overloading can damage the scale.
