Introduction

Setup

1. Unpacking and Stand Installation

Carefully remove the TV and all accessories from the packaging. Place the TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage. Attach the included stands to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.

2. Power Connection

Connect the AC/DC power adapter to the DC 12V input port on the TV. Plug the other end of the adapter into a suitable power outlet. The TV supports both AC (home) and DC (vehicle/RV) power sources.

3. Antenna Connection and Channel Scan

For over-the-air broadcasts, connect a digital antenna (not included) to the RF IN port on the back of the TV. Position the antenna for optimal signal reception, ideally near a window. Once connected, power on the TV and navigate to the 'Channel' menu to perform an 'Auto Scan' for available channels.

4. Connecting External Devices

The TV offers multiple connectivity options:

  • HDMI: Connect devices like cable boxes, gaming consoles, or streaming sticks to the HDMI input ports.
  • USB: Insert a USB drive into the USB port for media playback.
  • AV: Use the AV input for older devices with composite video and stereo audio outputs.
  • PC Monitor: The TV can function as a PC monitor.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Controls

The TV can be controlled using the included full-function remote control or the buttons located on the TV itself. The remote provides direct access to various functions, including power, volume, channel selection, input source, and menu navigation.

2. Input Source Selection

Press the 'SOURCE' button on the remote or TV to cycle through available input sources (ATSC, AV, HDMI, VGA, USB). Select the desired input for your connected device.

3. Picture and Sound Modes

Customize your viewing experience with various picture and sound modes:

  • Picture Modes: User, Standard, Dynamic, Mild. Adjust brightness, contrast, and color saturation to your preference.
  • Sound Modes: User, Music, Movie, Standard. Fine-tune bass, treble, and balance for optimal audio.

4. Built-in DVD Player Operation

The integrated DVD player supports multiple formats including DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, VCD, HDCD, and CD. Insert a disc into the side slot with the label facing you. The TV will automatically switch to DVD mode or you can select it from the source menu. Use the remote control for playback functions (play, pause, stop, skip).

5. Media Playback (USB/SD/MMC/MS)

Insert a USB drive or a compatible memory card (SD/MMC/MS) into the respective slots. Select 'USB' from the input source menu. You can then browse and play photos, music, or videos stored on your media device.

6. Additional Features

  • Sleep Timer: Set a timer for the TV to automatically turn off.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Screen

  • No Picture/Sound: Verify that the correct input source is selected. Check all cable connections (HDMI, AV, antenna) for looseness or damage.
  • Poor Picture Quality: Adjust picture settings (brightness, contrast, color) in the menu. For antenna reception, try repositioning the antenna or performing another channel scan.
  • No Signal (Antenna): Ensure the antenna is properly connected and positioned. Perform an auto channel scan.
  • DVD Player Not Reading Disc: Ensure the disc is clean and free of scratches. Insert the disc correctly with the label side facing you.
  • Remote Control Not Working: Check and replace the batteries (2 AAA batteries required). Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's IR sensor.
