Operating Instructions

Performing a Test

  1. Wait 15-20 Minutes: Before testing, wait at least 15-20 minutes after eating, drinking, or smoking. This allows any residual alcohol in your mouth to dissipate, ensuring an accurate sample from your lungs.
  2. Power On: Press and hold the power button located on the front of the device. The device will emit a short beep and begin a warm-up countdown.
  3. Prepare to Blow: Once the countdown reaches zero, the display will show "BLOW" and emit another beep. This indicates the device is ready for a breath sample.
  4. Provide Breath Sample: Take a deep breath and blow steadily and continuously into the mouthpiece for approximately 5 seconds, or until you hear a click sound. Ensure a consistent airflow.
  5. View Results: After a few seconds, your estimated Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) will be displayed on the screen. The result will remain on the screen for several seconds before the device automatically powers off.
