4.2 Installing the Sight Light

The included sight light enhances visibility of the fiber optic pin in low-light conditions.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Windage and Elevation Adjustments

The Drive Slider Bow Sight features precise adjustments for both windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) to fine-tune your aiming point.

  • Windage Adjustment: Use the horizontal adjustment knob/screw to move the pin left or right. Turn the screw clockwise to move the pin right, and counter-clockwise to move it left.
  • Elevation Adjustment: The slider mechanism allows for quick vertical adjustments. Loosen the locking knob, slide the sight housing up or down to the desired elevation, and then re-tighten the locking knob. The adjustable indicator pin provides ultra-precise micro-adjustments.

5.2 Utilizing the Bubble Level

A precision-installed bubble level is integrated into the sight housing to help ensure your bow is perfectly level during aiming, which is crucial for accuracy. Always check the bubble level before taking a shot.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the sight. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Inspect the fiber optic pin for any damage or fraying.
  • Lubrication: The nylon bushings are designed for smooth, quiet movement without metal-to-metal contact and generally do not require lubrication. If movement becomes stiff, consult Trophy Ridge customer support.
