Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Interior: The interior is stainless steel. For general cleaning, rinse with water.
- Descaling: Mineral deposits (limescale) may build up over time, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the kettle with a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Boil the solution and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup. Discard the solution and rinse the interior thoroughly several times with fresh water. Repeat if necessary.
- Do not immerse the power base or cord in water or any other liquid.
