2. Unit Selection
Press the [M] (Mode) button to cycle through the available weighing units: grams (g), ounces (oz), carats (ct), and grains (gn). Select the desired unit before weighing.
3. Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the net weight of the contents.
- Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
- Wait for the display to stabilize, then press the [ON/OFF/T] button. The display will reset to "0.00g" (or the selected unit).
- Add the items to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the items.
4. Weighing Procedure
- Ensure the scale is on and displaying "0.00g" (or the selected unit).
- Gently place the item(s) to be weighed onto the center of the stainless steel weighing platform.
- Wait for the display to stabilize. The stable weight will be shown on the LCD.

Calibration
For optimal accuracy, periodic calibration may be required. Refer to the following general steps for calibration. A 200g calibration weight is typically used for this model.
- Turn the scale ON and wait for it to display "0.00g".
- Press and hold the [M] (Mode) button until "CAL" appears on the display, then release.
- Press the [M] button again. The display will flash the required calibration weight (e.g., "200.00g").
- Place the exact calibration weight (e.g., 200g) onto the center of the weighing platform.
- The display will show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode, indicating successful calibration. Remove the weight.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. Keep the weighing platform clean and free of debris.
2. Storage
Store the scale in a clean, dry environment at room temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight. If storing for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
3. Battery Replacement
When the display shows a low battery indicator (e.g., "Lo"), replace both AAA batteries with new ones to ensure continued accurate operation.
Troubleshooting
- "Lo" or Low Battery Indicator: Replace the batteries with new AAA batteries.
- "OUE2" or "EEEE": Indicates overload. Remove the item from the platform immediately to prevent damage. The maximum capacity is 200g.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable surface.
- Check for any obstructions under or around the platform.
- Recalibrate the scale if necessary.
- Ensure the ambient temperature is stable.
- Scale Does Not Turn On: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are new and correctly inserted.
