2. Important Safety Information
To prevent injury or damage to the appliance, always observe the following safety precautions:
- Only use induction-compatible cookware. Non-magnetic pots and pans will not heat.
- Do not place metal objects (e.g., knives, forks, spoons, lids, aluminum foil) on the cooktop surface, as they may become hot.
- Individuals with pacemakers or similar medical devices should consult their doctor before using an induction cooktop due to potential electromagnetic interference.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not block air vents.
- The cooktop surface will be hot after use due to residual heat from the cookware. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning or touching.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not operate the appliance if it has been damaged in any way. Contact qualified service personnel for repair.

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the induction cooktop from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport if needed.
- Placement: Place the unit on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the cooktop (at least 4 inches on all sides) for proper ventilation. Do not place it near heat sources or on metallic surfaces that could interfere with induction.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120-volt, 60 Hz electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet can support 1600 watts (approximately 13.3 amps) and is not shared with other high-wattage appliances.
- Cookware Check: Before operating, ensure your cookware is induction-compatible. Compatible cookware typically has a flat bottom and is made of magnetic materials such as cast iron, magnetic stainless steel, or enameled iron. A simple test is to see if a magnet sticks to the bottom of your pot or pan. The recommended cooking surface diameter is 5-10 inches.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your induction cooktop.
- Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Glass Surface: Wipe the glass cooktop surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive ceramic cooktop cleaner can be used. Rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Plastic Frame: Clean the plastic frame with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Never immerse the cooktop in water or place it under running water.
- Ensure the ventilation openings are free from dust and debris. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to gently clear them if necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your induction cooktop, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not turn on. | No power supply; power cord not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped. | Ensure the unit is properly plugged into a working outlet. Check your household circuit breaker. |
| Cooktop not heating. | Incompatible cookware; no cookware on surface; cookware not centered; error code displayed. | Use induction-compatible cookware. Place cookware centrally on the cooking zone. Refer to error code section (if applicable, check manual for specific codes). |
| Display shows an error code (e.g., E0, E1). | Varies by code (e.g., E0 for no pot, E1 for overheating). | Consult the specific error code list in your full product manual (if available). Generally, ensure proper cookware, ventilation, and allow unit to cool if overheating. |
| Loud fan noise during operation. | Normal operation; fan cools internal components. | This is normal. The fan will run to dissipate heat and may continue for a short time after cooking stops. |
| Cookware hums or vibrates. | Normal with some types of multi-layered or composite cookware. | This is generally harmless. It may be reduced by lowering the power setting or using different cookware. |
