3.2 Wiring Connections

• AC Input: Connect the AC Line (L), Neutral (N), and Ground (⏚) wires to the corresponding terminals on the input side. The input voltage range is 88-264VAC.
• DC Output: Connect your load to the DC output terminals. The positive output (+V) and negative output (-V) terminals are clearly marked. The unit provides a 48V DC output.

3.3 Output Voltage Adjustment

The output voltage can be finely adjusted using the "+V ADJ" potentiometer located near the output terminals. Use a small screwdriver to carefully turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase the voltage or counter-clockwise to decrease it within the specified adjustment range.

Once all connections are securely made and verified, apply AC power to the input terminals. The power supply will begin operation, providing a stable 48V DC output.

4.1 LED Indicator

A green LED indicator is present on the unit. This LED illuminates when the power supply is receiving AC input and producing a stable DC output, indicating normal operation.

4.2 Cooling

The RS-100-48 is cooled by free air convection. Ensure that the perforated metal casing is not blocked and that there is adequate space around the unit for air circulation. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 70°C.

• Output Voltage Incorrect:
  • Check the "+V ADJ" potentiometer setting. Adjust if necessary.
  • Ensure the load is not exceeding the maximum output current of 2.3 Amps or 110.4W.
• Unit Shuts Down:
  • The power supply includes built-in protections for short circuit, overload, and over voltage. If a fault condition occurs, the unit may shut down to protect itself and the connected load. Remove the fault condition and cycle the AC power to reset the unit.
  • Check for adequate ventilation; overheating can trigger thermal protection.
