Setup
1. Power Connection
- Connect the AC adapter to the power input jack on the back of the unit.
- Plug the AC adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- For battery backup (to retain settings during power outages), insert the required batteries (e.g., 2 x AAA, not included) into the battery compartment, observing polarity.
2. Antenna Setup
Extend the FM wire antenna fully and position it for optimal FM radio reception. Avoid coiling the antenna or placing it near other electronic devices that may cause interference.
3. Initial Time Setting (Radio-Controlled Clock)
The Lenco CR-335 features a radio-controlled clock. Upon initial power-up, the unit will attempt to synchronize its time with the radio signal. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure the unit is placed in an area with good reception.
- Once synchronized, the time will be automatically set.
- The clock will automatically adjust for daylight saving time.
Operating Instructions
Setting the Time Manually (if radio control fails or is not desired)
- Press and hold the TIME SET button (or equivalent, refer to specific button labels on your unit). The hour digits will flash.
- Use the HOUR or TUNING UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press TIME SET again. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the MINUTE or TUNING UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Press TIME SET once more to confirm.
- To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the 12/24H button (if available) or cycle through time settings. The PM indicator will show for 12-hour PM times.
Setting the Alarm (Dual Alarm)
The CR-335 allows for two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).
- Select Alarm Source: On the side/rear of the unit, use the slider switch for ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 to select RADIO, BUZZER, or OFF.
- Set Alarm Time:
- Press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Use the HOUR or TUNING UP/DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button again. The alarm minute digits will flash.
- Use the MINUTE or TUNING UP/DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm minutes.
- Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button once more to confirm.
- Set Alarm Frequency (Weekdays/Weekend/Week): After setting the time, some models allow you to select the alarm frequency. Use the appropriate button (e.g., ALARM MODE) to cycle through options like "Every Day," "Weekdays Only," or "Weekend Only."
- An alarm indicator (e.g., "ALARM 1" or "ALARM 2" icon) will appear on the display when the alarm is active.
Snooze Function (Wave Snooze)
When an alarm sounds, you can temporarily silence it using the wave snooze function.
- To activate snooze, simply wave your hand over the motion sensor located on the top of the unit. The alarm will pause for a set period (e.g., 9 minutes) and then sound again.
- Alternatively, press the SNOOZE button to activate the snooze function.
- To cancel the alarm completely, press the ALARM OFF button or slide the alarm source switch to OFF.

FM Radio Operation
- Press the RADIO ON/OFF button to turn on the FM radio. The RADIO indicator will light up.
- Use the TUNING knob or TUNING UP/DOWN buttons to select your desired FM station. The frequency will be displayed on the LED screen.
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME knob or VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons.
- To turn off the radio, press the RADIO ON/OFF button again.
Sleep Timer
The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to the radio, which will automatically turn off after a set period.
- While the radio is playing, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 10, 30, 60, 90 minutes, or OFF).
- The radio will automatically turn off after the selected duration.
Display Dimmer
Adjust the brightness of the LED display to your preference.
- Press the DIMMER button to cycle through different brightness levels (e.g., High, Medium, Low, Off).
