- Fill the tank with fresh, cold tap water up to the MAX level indicator. Do not use sparkling water or other liquids.

4.3 Priming the Machine
Before first use, or if the machine has not been used for a long time, it must be primed to fill the internal circuits with water.
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Place a container under the steam wand.

- Once the machine reaches operating temperature (indicator light stops flashing), open the steam knob to allow water to flow through the steam wand until a steady stream appears.
- Close the steam knob. The machine is now primed.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Making Espresso (Ground Coffee)

- Insert the appropriate filter basket into the portafilter.
- Add finely ground espresso coffee to the filter basket. For a single shot, use one level scoop; for a double shot, use two.
- Lightly tamp the coffee grounds.
- Attach the portafilter to the brewing group by inserting it from the left and rotating it firmly to the right until it is secure.
- Place one or two espresso cups on the drip tray directly under the portafilter spouts.
- Press the brew button. Espresso will begin to flow.
- Press the brew button again to stop the flow once the desired volume is reached.
- Carefully remove the portafilter and discard the used coffee grounds.
5.2 Making Espresso (ESE Pods)
- Ensure the machine is on and heated.
- Insert the ESE pod adaptor into the portafilter.
- Place an ESE pod into the adaptor.
- Attach the portafilter to the brewing group.
- Place a cup under the spouts.
- Press the brew button to start and stop the flow.
5.3 Frothing Milk
- Fill a milk pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to just below the spout.
- Press the steam button to activate the steam function. Wait for the steam indicator light to illuminate steadily.
- Position the steam wand just below the surface of the milk.
- Open the steam knob slowly to release steam. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam.
- Once the milk is frothed to your desired consistency and temperature, close the steam knob.
- Immediately clean the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
5.4 Dispensing Hot Water
- Ensure the machine is on and heated.
- Place a cup under the steam wand.
- Open the steam knob to dispense hot water.
