Installation Instructions

Calculating Voltage Drop

A (length of wire in feet) x B (total watts for all lamps on that wire run) = C (cable constant)

Cable Constants by Wire Gauge:

• 12 gauge: 7500 (Maximum 250 watts or 200 feet)
• 14 gauge: 3500 (Maximum 200 watts or 150 feet)
• 16 gauge: 2200 (Maximum 150 watts or 100 feet)
• 18 gauge: 1380

Operating Instructions

The transformer features a built-in timer and photocell, along with an ON/OFF/AUTO switch for flexible control of your landscape lighting system.

Control Settings:

• ON: Provides continuous power to the connected lighting system. Lights will remain on until manually switched off.
• OFF: Disables power to the lighting system. Lights will remain off.
• AUTO: Activates the photocell and timer functions. The lights will automatically turn on at dusk and operate according to the selected timer setting.

Timer Settings:

When the switch is set to AUTO, adjust the timer dial to select the desired duration for the lights to remain on after dusk. Common settings include 2 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours. The lights will automatically turn off after the set duration or at dawn, whichever comes first.

Kichler Lighting warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 (one) year following the date of shipment from Seller. Black and/or Textured Architectural Bronze finish transformers are warranted for 10 years. This warranty does not cover labor or other costs or expenses to remove or install any defective, repaired, or replaced product. This warranty is not transferable.
