3. Setup

3.1 Package Contents

Verify that your package contains the following items:

• One Microsoft/Pharos GPS-360 SIRF GPS Receiver
• One USB extension cord with suction cup
• One USB cable

3.2 Connecting the GPS Receiver

1. Connect the USB cable to the GPS-360 receiver.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into an available USB port on your notebook PC, desktop PC, or Tablet PC.
3. For optimal placement, use the included USB extension cord with suction cup to position the receiver with a clear view of the sky, such as on a vehicle dashboard or window.

3.3 Driver Installation

For Mac users, the GPS receiver can function within Parallels Desktop, allowing you to use Windows-based navigation software without rebooting your system.

4.2 Using with Navigation Software
