Care and Maintenance

Proper cleaning after each use is essential to maintain the performance and longevity of your Paint Zoom sprayer.

  1. Immediately after use, empty any remaining paint from the container.
  2. Fill the paint container with appropriate cleaning solution (water for water-based paints, mineral spirits or thinner for oil-based paints).
  3. Spray the cleaning solution through the gun until it runs clear. This cleans the internal components.
  4. Disassemble the spray gun components (nozzle, air cap, paint container).
  5. Thoroughly clean all disassembled parts with the cleaning solution and the included cleaning pin for the nozzle. An old toothbrush can be useful for scrubbing.
  6. Rinse all parts with clean water and allow them to dry completely before reassembling or storing.
  7. Wipe down the exterior of the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
