What's in the Box

Setup

1. Insert Battery

Your Logitech M325 mouse comes with one AA battery pre-installed. To activate the mouse, remove the battery pull tab if present. If replacing the battery, open the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse, insert a fresh AA battery, ensuring correct polarity, and close the compartment.

2. Connect USB Receiver

Locate the Logitech Unifying Nano Receiver. It is typically stored inside the battery compartment of the mouse. Carefully remove the receiver and plug it into an available USB port on your computer.

3. Turn On the Mouse

Slide the On/Off switch located on the underside of the mouse to the 'On' position. The mouse should automatically connect to the USB receiver. Your computer's operating system will typically install the necessary drivers automatically.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The mouse uses one AA battery and boasts up to 18 months of battery life, though this may vary based on usage. When the battery is low, the LED indicator on the mouse will flash red. To replace the battery:

  1. Turn off the mouse using the On/Off switch on the underside.
  2. Press the release button on the battery compartment cover and remove the cover.
  3. Remove the old AA battery.
  4. Insert a new AA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly.
  5. Replace the battery compartment cover.
  6. Turn the mouse back on.

Cleaning

To clean your mouse, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
