2. Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before use.
- Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Placement

- Place the machine on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and heat.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
4.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wash the water tank, drip tray, and coffee grounds container with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
4.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the water tank from the rear of the machine by pulling it upwards using the handle.
- Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line.
- Carefully reinsert the water tank, ensuring it slides directly onto the guide rail at the back of the unit. It should fit snugly without any gaps between the tank and the machine.

4.4 Filling the Bean Hopper
- Open the lid of the bean hopper located on top of the machine.
- Pour fresh, whole coffee beans into the hopper. Do not overfill.
- Close the lid securely to maintain bean freshness.
- Note: Avoid using oily or dark roast beans if possible, as they can clog the grinder. If using, ensure they are not excessively oily.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On and Initial Rinse
- Plug the appliance into a 110-volt power outlet.
- Press the power button. The machine will perform an automatic rinse cycle. Place a container under the coffee spouts to collect the water.
- The LCD screen will guide you through initial settings.

5.2 Brewing Coffee/Espresso
- Place a cup under the coffee spouts.
- Use the control knob to select your desired beverage (Espresso, Strong Espresso, Coffee, Long Coffee).
- Press the OK button to start brewing. The machine will automatically grind the beans and brew your drink.
- Adjust the coffee strength and volume using the control knob before confirming your selection.

5.3 Frothing Milk
- Fill a milk pitcher with cold milk.
- Position the steam nozzle into the milk.
- Activate the steam function (refer to the LCD screen for specific menu options).
- Move the pitcher up and down to create desired froth.
- After frothing, clean the steam nozzle immediately with a damp cloth.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Emptying the Drip Tray and Coffee Grounds Container
- The drip tray has red floats that rise when it needs emptying.
- Carefully pull out the drip tray and coffee grounds container.
- Empty and rinse both components with warm water.
- Reinsert them securely until you hear a click.
