1. Setup Guide

1.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all listed accessories are present. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.

1.2 Assembly

  1. Attach the flexible hose to the front inlet of the vacuum cleaner by twisting it clockwise until secure.
  2. Connect the stainless steel extension tubes together, then attach them to the hose handle.
  3. Select the appropriate floor tool or accessory and attach it to the end of the extension tubes.

1.3 Initial Use

Before first use, ensure a dust bag is correctly installed inside the drum. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The Henry Extra features a 33-foot cord with a rewind storage system for convenience.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Powering On/Off

To turn the vacuum cleaner on, press the red power switch located on the top of the unit. Press it again to turn the unit off. The AutoSave Technology optimizes power consumption.

2.2 Using Attachments

The Henry Extra comes with a comprehensive XS1 accessory kit for various cleaning tasks:

  • 290mm Combination Floor Tool: Suitable for both carpets and hard floors. Adjust the brush setting using the foot pedal on the tool.
  • Airobrush (AB290): Provides excellent carpet care and is ideal for picking up pet hair.
  • 300mm MultiFlo Dry Brush Nozzle: Designed for efficient dry vacuuming on various surfaces.
  • 240mm Crevice Tool (32mm): For reaching narrow gaps and tight corners.
  • 150mm Upholstery Nozzle (32mm) with Slide-on Brush: For cleaning furniture and delicate surfaces.
  • 65mm Soft Dusting Brush (32mm): For dusting delicate items and surfaces.
  • Stainless Steel Tube Bend with NPC Volume Control (32mm): Allows for suction control.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Dust Bag Replacement

The Henry Extra uses high-efficiency dust bags. Replace the dust bag when it is full or when suction power noticeably decreases. To replace:

  1. Unclip the two latches on the sides of the vacuum head and lift the head off.
  2. Carefully remove the full dust bag from its holder. The bag features a self-seal tab for hygienic disposal.
  3. Insert a new dust bag, ensuring it is properly seated within the drum.
  4. Replace the vacuum head and secure the latches.

3.2 Filter Maintenance

The 3-stage Microfresh filter system enhances filtration standards to 98%. Regularly check and clean the filter to maintain optimal performance. The filter is located beneath the vacuum head. Gently tap off any accumulated dust or debris. Replace the filter if it appears damaged or excessively worn.

3.3 Hose and Accessory Care

Inspect the hose and accessories periodically for blockages or damage. Clear any obstructions to ensure consistent airflow and suction. Wipe down the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth as needed.

4. Troubleshooting
