Setup

Battery Installation:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the alarm clock.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 2 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: For optimal performance of the backlight function, ensure batteries have sufficient power.

Setting the Time:

1. Slide the function switch (typically labeled T.SET/AL.SET/AL.OFF) to the "T.SET" position.
2. Press the "HR" button to adjust the hour. The hour will advance with each press.
3. Press the "MIN" button to adjust the minute. The minute will advance with each press.
4. Once the correct time is set, slide the function switch back to the "AL.OFF" or "AL.ON" position (depending on whether you want the alarm active).

Operating Instructions

Setting the Alarm:

1. Slide the function switch to the "AL.SET" position.
2. Press the "HR" button to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the "MIN" button to adjust the alarm minute.
4. Once the desired alarm time is set, slide the function switch to the "AL.ON" position to activate the alarm. An alarm icon (bell) will appear on the display.

Using the Snooze/Light Function:

• When the alarm sounds, press the large "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button located on the top of the clock to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5 minutes (crescendo alarm).
• To activate the blue backlight at any time, press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button. The backlight will illuminate for a few seconds.

Turning Off the Alarm:

• To turn off the alarm completely, slide the function switch to the "AL.OFF" position. The alarm icon will disappear from the display.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

• To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the finish or internal components.

Battery Replacement:

• When the display dims or the alarm sound weakens, it is time to replace the batteries.
