Setup

1. System Requirements

  • Bluetooth-enabled Mac computer with Mac OS X v10.6.8 or later.
  • Existing keyboard and mouse for initial setup on a Mac.
  • Compatible with iPad (some function keys may not operate as designed on iPad).

2. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the right side of the keyboard's cylindrical housing.
  2. Unscrew the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten it securely.

The keyboard requires two AA batteries for operation. An intelligent power management system helps conserve battery life.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the keyboard is powered on using the on/off switch located on the right side of the cylindrical housing. A green LED will indicate power.
  2. On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Bluetooth.
