1. Nose Length Measurement: Measure the distance from the tip of the nose to the base of the nose, just below the eyes. The tip of the nose should not touch the muzzle.
2. Nose Circumference Measurement: Measure around the widest part of their nose, just below the eyes. Ideally, measure while they are panting to ensure enough room.

1. Show your dog the muzzle. If they come forward to investigate it, verbally praise them and give a treat.
2. Place a treat inside the muzzle to lure your dog's nose into the muzzle and allow them to eat the treat. Repeat this several times.
3. Once your dog is used to the sensation, bring the straps behind its head and connect them. Keep the muzzle on for short periods, gradually increasing the duration.
4. Always reward your dog with treats and praise while the muzzle is on.

1. Warm: Immerse the muzzle basket in hot tap water (approximately 170-180°F / 70-80°C) for 2 minutes.

3. Cool: Place the shaped muzzle in cold water to lock the new shape in place.
4. Fit: Check for fit on your dog. Repeat shaping as required until the fit is optimal.
