2. Setup Instructions

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present: machine, water tank, drip tray, and power cord.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, flat surface near a power outlet. Ensure adequate space around the machine for ventilation and operation.
  3. Clean Water Tank: Wash the water tank with warm, soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. Fill the water tank with fresh, potable water up to the MAX fill line.
  4. Initial Rinse: Before first use, perform an initial rinse cycle. Plug in the machine and turn it on. The power button will flash red, then turn green when ready. Place an empty cup on the drip tray. Without inserting a capsule, move the lever to the hot water position (red) and let water flow through until the tank is empty. Repeat this process with cold water (blue lever position). This primes the system and cleans internal components.
  5. Adjust Drip Tray: Adjust the height of the drip tray to suit your cup size.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Drip Tray: Empty and clean the drip tray and grid after each use or as needed. The drip tray is dishwasher safe.
  • Water Tank: Rinse the water tank daily and refill with fresh water.
  • Capsule Holder: Remove and rinse the capsule holder after each use to prevent coffee residue buildup.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the machine in water.

4.2 Descaling

Regular descaling is essential to maintain machine performance and extend its lifespan. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage. Refer to the full user manual for detailed descaling instructions and recommended descaling solutions.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Machine Not Turning On: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the power button is pressed.
  • No Water Flow: Check if the water tank is properly inserted and filled. Ensure the initial rinse cycle has been performed. If the issue persists, the machine may need descaling.
  • Weak Coffee/Espresso: Verify that the correct capsule is used and that the volume setting on the LED display matches the recommended level for a stronger brew. Ensure the machine is descaled regularly.
  • Leaking: Check that the water tank is correctly positioned and not overfilled. Ensure the capsule holder is properly closed and the locking handle is secured.
  • Machine is Loud: A certain level of noise is normal during operation due to the 15-bar pressure pump. If the noise is excessive or unusual, ensure all parts are correctly assembled.
