Control Buttons:
- TIME: Used for setting the time and date manually.
- ALARM: Used for setting the alarm time.
- ALARM ON/OFF: Toggles the alarm function on or off.

- °C/°F WAVE: Toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature display, and initiates manual DCF77 signal search.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the alarm clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the required batteries (batteries are not included) according to the polarity indicators (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2 Initial Time Synchronization (DCF77)
Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically begin searching for the DCF77 radio signal to synchronize the time. This process may take several minutes.
- Place the clock near a window for optimal signal reception.
- A radio mast icon will appear on the display, indicating signal reception.
- Once synchronized, the icon will become solid, and the correct time will be displayed.
- The clock will attempt to synchronize automatically every hour, or at specific times (e.g., 2 AM UK time, which is 1 AM UK time for the Frankfurt signal).
3.3 Manual Time and Date Setting
If automatic synchronization is not successful or if you are outside the DCF77 signal range, you can set the time and date manually.
- Press and hold the TIME button until the hour digits begin to flash.
- Use the 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press TIME again to confirm the hour and move to the minute setting.
- Repeat step 2 and 3 for minutes, year, month, and day.
- After setting the date, the time zone adjustment will appear. Use 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE to set the offset (e.g., -1 for UK time if the clock defaults to Central European Time).
- Press TIME to exit manual setting.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Setting the Alarm
- Press and hold the ALARM button until the alarm hour digits flash.
- Use the 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press ALARM again to confirm the hour and move to the alarm minute setting.
- Use the 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE buttons to adjust the alarm minute.
- Press ALARM to confirm and exit alarm setting.
4.2 Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
- Press the ALARM ON/OFF button to toggle the alarm on or off.
- An alarm clock symbol will appear on the display when the alarm is active.
4.3 Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes.
4.4 12/24 Hour Format
Press the 12/24 button to switch between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour time formats.
4.5 Temperature Display (°C/°F)
Press the °C/°F WAVE button to toggle the indoor temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
4.6 Backlight
Press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock to activate the backlight for approximately 3 seconds.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning correctly. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.
- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
