3. Safety Information
Wearing a helmet is crucial for cycling safety. Always ensure your helmet is properly fitted and secured before each ride.
- Proper Fit: A helmet should fit snugly and comfortably, without obstructing vision. It should not move excessively when you shake your head.
- Chin Strap: The chin strap must be securely fastened, with the buckle positioned under your chin.
- Impact: A helmet is designed to absorb impact by partially destroying itself. If your helmet sustains an impact, even if there is no visible damage, it must be replaced immediately. Its protective capabilities may be compromised.
- Visibility: Consider wearing bright clothing and using lights, especially in low-light conditions, to enhance your visibility to others.
- Certification: This helmet meets the European safety standard CE EN 1078 for helmets for pedal cyclists and for users of skateboards and roller skates.

4. Setup and Adjustment
4.1. Fitting the Helmet
- Place the helmet on your head so that it sits level and covers your forehead.
- Adjust the rear dial system (located at the back of the helmet) by turning it clockwise to tighten or counter-clockwise to loosen. Continue adjusting until the helmet feels snug and secure without being uncomfortably tight.
- The helmet should not move significantly when you shake your head or push it from side to side.

4.2. Adjusting the Straps
- Fasten the chin strap buckle.
- Adjust the straps so that they form a 'V' shape just below your ears.
- Tighten the chin strap until it is snug under your chin. Ensure there is enough room for two fingers to fit comfortably between the strap and your chin. The padded chin buckle protection ensures a comfortable fit.
- Check that the helmet does not rock forward or backward excessively.

4.3. Attaching the Visor
The helmet includes a detachable visor. To attach it:
- Identify the three lugs on the visor and the corresponding fixing holes on the helmet.
- Start by inserting the central lug of the visor into its designated hole on the helmet.
- Gently pull the sides of the visor outwards to align and insert the two remaining side lugs into their respective fixing holes on the helmet.
- Ensure all three lugs are securely seated. Once attached correctly, the visor will remain firmly in place.

5. Operation
Once your helmet is properly fitted and adjusted, it is ready for use. Always wear your helmet when cycling, regardless of the distance or terrain. Ensure the chin strap is fastened and snug before you begin your ride.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your helmet and ensure its continued effectiveness.
- Cleaning: Clean the helmet using only a soft cloth, mild soap, and water. Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the helmet's materials and compromise its protective properties.
- Storage: Store your helmet in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not expose the helmet to temperatures exceeding 60°C (140°F), as this can cause damage.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect your helmet for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage to the shell, straps, or adjustment system. If any damage is found, replace the helmet immediately.
7. Troubleshooting
- Helmet feels loose: Re-adjust the rear dial system by turning it clockwise until a snug fit is achieved. Ensure the chin strap is also tightened correctly.
- Discomfort: Check that the helmet is sitting level on your head and that the straps are not twisted. Adjust the fit slightly using the rear dial and strap adjusters. The padded chin buckle should prevent irritation.
- Visor detaches easily: Ensure all three lugs of the visor are fully inserted into their respective fixing holes on the helmet. Apply gentle pressure to secure them.
- Excessive sweating: The 18 ventilation holes are designed to maximize cooling. Ensure your head is not covered by thick headwear that might impede airflow.
