- Only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens.
- When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on the oven due to the possibility of ignition.
- If smoke is observed, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames.
- Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling, therefore care must be taken when handling the container.
- The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before consumption, in order to avoid burns.
- Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens since they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.

3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly set up your microwave oven.
- Unpacking: Remove all packaging materials and accessories. Inspect the oven for any damage such as dents or a broken door. Do not install if damaged.
- Placement: Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven. Ensure there is adequate ventilation:
- Leave a minimum of 20 cm (8 inches) clearance above the oven.
- Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) clearance at the rear and sides.
- Power Connection: Plug the oven into a properly grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications on the rating label.
- Turntable Assembly:
- Place the turntable ring on the oven floor.
- Place the glass turntable on top of the turntable ring, ensuring it sits securely in the center hub.
Warning:
- Do not block air vents.
- Do not place the oven near heat sources or in a damp environment.
4. Operating Instructions
This section explains how to use your Orbegozo MIG-1810 microwave oven for various cooking tasks.
4.1. Power Level Selection
The microwave oven features multiple power levels to suit different cooking needs. Rotate the Power Level Dial to select the desired power setting.
- HIGH (100%): For fast cooking and reheating. (e.g., boiling water, cooking fresh vegetables)
- MED-HIGH (70%): For longer cooking of dense foods. (e.g., roasting meat, casseroles)
- MEDIUM (50%): For gentle cooking and simmering. (e.g., stews, delicate sauces)
- MED-LOW (30%): For defrosting and softening. (e.g., butter, ice cream)
- LOW (10%): For keeping food warm or very gentle defrosting.
4.2. Setting the Cooking Time
After selecting the power level, rotate the Timer Dial to set the desired cooking duration. The maximum cooking time is 30 minutes.
- Place the food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the oven door securely.
- Rotate the Power Level Dial to your desired power setting.
- Rotate the Timer Dial to the desired cooking time. The oven will start automatically.
- When the cooking time expires, the oven will emit an audible signal and automatically switch off.
- Carefully remove the food. Use oven mitts as the container and food may be hot.
Note:
- If the cooking time is less than 2 minutes, turn the timer past 2 minutes and then back to the desired time for more accurate setting.
- To stop cooking mid-cycle, simply open the oven door or turn the timer dial back to "OFF".
4.3. Defrosting
The defrost function allows you to thaw frozen foods efficiently.
- Place the frozen food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable.
- Rotate the Power Level Dial to the "DEFROST" setting (typically MED-LOW or LOW, depending on the model's specific markings).
- Rotate the Timer Dial to the appropriate defrosting time. Refer to food packaging for recommended defrosting times or use the general guidelines below.
- During defrosting, it is recommended to turn the food over periodically to ensure even thawing.
Defrosting Guidelines (Approximate):
- Meat (250g): 5-7 minutes
- Poultry (500g): 8-12 minutes
- Bread (2 slices): 1-2 minutes
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your microwave oven.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the oven from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Oven Interior: Wipe the interior cavity after each use with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Oven Door: Clean the door seals and sealing surfaces regularly with a damp cloth to remove any spills or splatters. Ensure these areas are clean to maintain proper door closure.
- Glass Turntable and Turntable Ring: These can be removed and washed in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Wave Guide Cover: This cover is delicate. It should be kept clean by wiping with a soft, damp cloth. Never remove or puncture the wave guide cover.
Caution:
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use steam cleaners.
