3. Setup
3.1 Inserting the Battery
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the device.
- Slide or lift the cover to open it.
- Insert one Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Important: Use only the specified battery type. Incorrect battery insertion can damage the device.
3.2 Charging the Battery
- Connect the small end of the USB cable to the USB port on the camcorder.
- Connect the large end of the USB cable to a powered USB port on a computer or a compatible USB wall adapter (not included).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once charging is complete, the light may change color or turn off.
Allow sufficient time for the battery to fully charge before first use.
3.3 Inserting an SD Card
An SD (Secure Digital) memory card is required to store videos and photos. The card is not included.
- Locate the SD card slot on the side or bottom of the camcorder.
- Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction (refer to the diagram near the slot, if available) until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card inward until it clicks, then release, and it will eject slightly.
Note: Ensure the camcorder is powered off before inserting or removing the SD card to prevent data loss or damage.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with ⏻) until the LCD screen illuminates.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.
4.2 Recording Video
