4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

4.2 Turntable Assembly

  1. Place the turntable ring in the center of the microwave cavity floor.

4.3 Placement

  • Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight.
  • Ensure there is adequate space for ventilation: at least 3 inches (7.5 cm) at the rear, 8 inches (20 cm) on the top, and 2 inches (5 cm) on the sides.
  • Keep the microwave away from heat sources and strong magnetic fields.

4.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC, 60Hz grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting the Clock

  1. Press the CLOCK button once. The hour digits will flash.
  2. Turn the multi-function knob to set the hour.
  3. Press the CLOCK button again. The minute digits will flash.
  4. Turn the multi-function knob to set the minutes.
  5. Press the CLOCK button one last time to confirm the setting.

5.2 Basic Microwave Cooking (Time Cook)

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable. Close the door.
  2. Turn the multi-function knob to set the desired cooking time. The time increases in 10-second increments for shorter times and larger increments for longer times.
  3. Press the START button to begin cooking.

5.3 Power Levels

To adjust the cooking power level:

  2. Press the POWER button. The display will show the current power level (e.g., P100 for 100% power).
  3. Turn the multi-function knob to select a power level from P10 (10%) to P100 (100%).
  4. Press the START button to begin cooking with the selected power level.

5.4 Express Cook

For quick cooking at 100% power:

  • Press the EXPRESS button repeatedly to select a quick cooking time (e.g., 30 seconds, 1 minute, 1 minute 30 seconds). The microwave will start immediately.

5.5 Pre-Programmed Cooking Settings

The microwave features 12 pre-programmed settings for common foods. To use these:

  1. Press the PROGRAM button. The display will show a program number (e.g., P-1).
  2. Turn the multi-function knob to cycle through the available programs (P-1 to P-12). Refer to the label inside the microwave door for specific food types corresponding to each program number.
  3. Press the START button to begin the pre-programmed cooking cycle.

5.6 Defrosting

Defrost by Time:

Defrost by Weight:
