Important Safety Instructions
- Read these instructions thoroughly before operating the amplifier.
- Keep these instructions for future reference.

- Do not use this apparatus near water.
- Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
Setup
Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Ensure all packing materials are removed. Place the amplifier on a stable, level surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
Connections
- Input: Connect your guitar using a high-quality instrument cable to the "Input" jack on the front panel.
- MP3/Aux In: Connect an external audio source (e.g., MP3 player, phone) to the "MP3/Aux In" jack using a 3.5mm stereo cable. This allows you to play along with backing tracks.
- Extension Speaker: The LX120RT features an extension speaker connection (4 Ohm minimum). Connect an external speaker cabinet to this output if desired. Ensure the impedance matches the amplifier's requirements.
- Footswitch: An optional FS2-MINI footswitch can be connected to the dedicated footswitch input for remote switching between Clean/Drive channels and activating/deactivating Reverb.
Powering On/Off
- Ensure all volume controls on the amplifier are set to minimum before powering on.
- Connect the power cord to the amplifier's AC inlet and then to a suitable grounded power outlet.
- Flip the "Power" switch to the ON position. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- To power off, set the "Power" switch to the OFF position and then disconnect the power cord.

Clean Channel
- Volume: Controls the overall output level of the Clean channel.
- Bass: Adjusts the low-frequency response of the Clean channel.
- Middle: Adjusts the mid-frequency response of the Clean channel.
- Treble: Adjusts the high-frequency response of the Clean channel.
Drive Channel
- Gain: Controls the amount of distortion or overdrive. Higher settings produce more saturated tones.
- Volume: Controls the output level of the Drive channel.
- Bass: Adjusts the low-frequency response of the Drive channel.
- Middle: Adjusts the mid-frequency response of the Drive channel.
- Treble: Adjusts the high-frequency response of the Drive channel.
- XTS Switch: Activates the XTS tone shaping feature, which scoops the mid-range and boosts key frequencies for a more aggressive, modern sound.
Reverb
- Reverb Control: Adjusts the amount of built-in reverb effect. Turn clockwise to increase the reverb intensity, adding ambience to your tone.
Master Section
- Master Volume: Controls the overall output volume of the entire amplifier, affecting both Clean and Drive channels.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the amplifier in a dry, cool environment, away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked by dust or debris. Periodically check and clean if necessary.
- Transportation: When moving the amplifier, use the integrated handle and ensure it is securely placed to prevent damage.
